It is performed by doing rangoli (kolam) of Sri Yantram (Chakram) with wheels etc. Devi Almighty is invoked by placing lighted lamps on all sides. Then Shodasha Upachara Puja is performed with Lalita Sahastranamam and Ashtotram. Special type of nei- chakrapongal is prepared (Kerala style; when you tilt the patram the pongal does not even fall down!!! it is so rigid!!) > > > A very effective and easy way to worship Jagadamba. Specially famous in Palagad etc. Tantri ritual is also performed without the Kolam requirement ie.directly on the Murti of Ambal. > > > Regards > > > Hariharan > AUM shrImAtre namaH > AUM namaH shivAya > AUM namaH shivAbhyAm > > > > > Get Your Private, Free E-mail from Indiatimes at http://email.indiatimes.com > Buy Music, Video, CD-ROM, Audio-Books and Music Accessories from http://www.planetm.co.in > > >
