Guest guest
I am a practitioner of the kaula tantric arts as well as some aspects of sri vidya, having a taste of both these worlds, my question is why would a person dedicate their lives to sri vidya? I know bits and pieces of the sri vidya school but the same route is taken by the kaula the difference is that the kaula school has a broader horizon, more discipline is needed of course but in the process one gets a lot of siddhi shakthis as well as a seance with the primal energies the goddess is composed of and their characteristics like dakini, hakini, kakini, shakini and rudrani to name a few. With kaula I am learning the divya path and am alluded to the vira and pasu paths in saying so I mean that the path is infinite in nature and to master it is like saying one understands the true intrinsic and extrinsic attributes and personality of the true and one GOD. In this age it is said that the Kaula is the true path of enlightenment since evil can not be surpressed it be faced and eradicated through realsing that Dharma and Adharma are the one and the same. Aadi Sankara himself has said that such realisation is on of the first attributes of Englitenment there is no self and the world everything and nothing are of the same nature. These too are basic philosophies of the kaula school; the epitome of kaula is the dashashloki which reflects the vedanta. Even in the lailta shahasranama the almighty goddess is recognised as the protector of the secrets of the kaula being the epicenter of kaula and attribute of the Mother Kali herself. I ask what is the difference of sri vidya and the kaula apart from the practises; in the sense of the ideology behind this? SOLD.com.au- Find yourself a bargain!
