Let me just point ot one thing,

 

hymns are a great way to praise mother but one should go for hymns that have a

seer since that means it is mean to enlighten to a spiritual or someother level.

 

If it has a bija, shakthi and keelkam then it becomes a whole mantra through

which one can attain enlightenment with the panchanga viddhi. These three become

something like a chariot and turn to body to a similar function a chariot that

takes the sadhak to the intended diety.

 

The patala and the guru are of the utmost significance however but that becomes

tantric/agamic.
