Even if You do not get along, still I, your slave, would get along (with You). Though I am a slave of those who reach at Your Feet, I would not stop singing (You). Since I knowingly befriended (You) singing and seeking, I will not forget, oh Beloved of nAttiyaththAn kuDi ! Notes: 1. The friend of the Supreme brings out here the behavior of the devotee. The company one gets, has a very good influence on the life. Devotee need to seek the company of Lord shiva (and Its devotees) even if it amounts to compromising and better stay away from those who go away from God. It is very much needed to stay humble serving the devotees, at the same time enough attention should be given to worship God. Since the true devotee realizes the glory of God and seeks It, will not tend to forget the One Who has occupied the mind - showering bliss. 2. maTTu - odor/honey; kuzal - plait; n^aTTal - make friendship. ===== --------------------------- Visit Shaivism Home Page at http://www.shaivam.org --------------------------- Health - Feel better, live better http://health.
