Owning up me, the dog like, please bless welcoming, "Ah, come !" Taking up which, I, the slave, praising time and again, "Hail Thee", coming time and again to salute You, death after death ! Notes: 1. There is a story. A sage who did long years of austerity when coming to know that he had to take one more birth before getting liberation became sad and he had to continue severe austerity. There was normal person who when coming to know that after the births that equals the count of the leaves in a tree, he would get liberation, was excited by that for the fact that atleast after so many births he is surely going to get liberation. He was awarded immediate mukthi. Here mANikka vAcakar does not seem to be worried about undergoing the cycles of births and deaths. What he is more concerned about is God letting him "also" to be one of the slaves. "Just that is enough, I will come again and again and keep saluting the Lord and rejoice", he says. c.f. kUDum anbinil kumbiDalE anRi vIDum vENDA viRalin viLaN^ginAR - cEkkizAr ===== --------------------------- Visit Shaivism Home Page at http://www.shaivam.org --------------------------- HotJobs - Search Thousands of New Jobs http://www.hotjobs.com
