without diksha?. I certainly have. Most mantras of mother kali dont

work to their full potential. I have noticed this with many of her

mantras. Most of her tantras one the devi rahasyam states that

(paraphrased statement)"most vidyas are lifeless without diksha".

What is diskha? Does one have mantra diksha because the guru has

performed an elaborate ceremony, has whispered the mantra into their

left ear, and then told them to repeat the mantra 100 million times?

Or could diksha be just the fact that you have gotten the text or

mantra in your hands, that the guru has guided it to you from the

inner planes, and now you have it?

Indeed, most vidyas are lifeless until YOU HAVE GOTTEN IT, somehow or

another. Otherwise they are just floating out there, lifeless.

EVERYTHING is due to the grace of the guru. It is no mistake that you

have come across a certain text or mantra. It is up to you how much

faith and practice you put into it.

You also say that "most mantras of mother kali dont work to their full

potential." How many mantras have you practiced? Truly, it takes

millions of repetitions of a single mantra for it to be effective. It

would take hundreds of lifetimes to practice "most mantras of mother

kali." Take one mantra that speaks to your heart and practice it.

Don't divide your time among many different mantras -- we don't have

enough time in this lifetime to practice all the mantras we want.

> But again there are mantras of the mother that even without diksha

tends to be very powerful like the kalika khadagamala, kali keelkam

and the kali hridayam.

You feel the power of these mantras because you love Kali and you love

something about these mantras, be it the fruit of repetition, their

sounds or the way they praise her. They speak to the goddess within

you, and she/you becomes happy upon hearing them, repeating them,

contemplating them. This bhakti is the ingredient that makes the

mantras effective.

> A true guru is indeed very difficult to find and when you have one

sole guru one tends to generate doubts wether he/she is the right one.

When you have doubts, this is good and natural. Isn't a teacher

disappointed if his student doesn't question? The guru will never do

your work for you or merely give you the answers. Like any good

teacher, he will make you discover the answers for yourself. Listen to

your inner self, for Guru, God, and Self are One. All the answers are

within you. When you come to the true guru, the satguru, yourSelf,

you will know it, there will be no doubts.

group but according to the shamshana kalika 1000 lord shiva in

dialogue with lord rama states that the mother kali's mantras (those

that belong to the shamshana kalika prayoga/paddhati/pancha

anga/tantra rahasyam) work equally as powerful with or without diksha

it depends on the sadhak's bhakti.

YES!!!!! If you didn't have bhakti, then you wouldn't be practicing

the mantra, and if you don't have the mantra, then you wouldn
