If a person is successful in one mantra, he will be successful in other mantra sadhanas too. As an ex: say if somebody has Narayana Ashtaxari and is successful in that sadhana he can easily take up Srividya or any Kali mantra or Tara mantra or Shaabara mantras or whatever regards.
