Guest guest
1. Kalyani asked earlier whether the 2 CDs has 80+ hrs of MP3. Answer is yes. Because 24kbps recording is used. By this 45 minutes takes only 8 MB. And the set contains 54 1/2 90 minute cassettes. 2. I have mailed the set to all those who asked. I have few mor left. 3. You need original sanskrit text to follow the lectures. First 30 minutes I heard went line by line of bhaskararAya's commentary. 4. Subject matter is pretty intense and requires a lot of concentration. 5. Audio recording was done at informal setting and it is of OK quality. Definetly listenable. Ignore the disturbances. 6. It is a great treasure. My thanks not only go to Sri SastrigaL, but also to Smt. Sankaran for taing the time and effort to record it. They have done a great service to devii bhakta-s. 7. Aarathi -- since it takes only 8 MB, I request permission for keeping entire Side A of Cassette 1 as a sample on the www site. Please let me know. Ravi Thanks.
