Guest guest
I am extremely happy to know that the volume "Voice of the Guru- Saundaryalahari", which is the English translation of Mahaperiyaval Sri Sri Chandrasekharendra Sarasvati's glorious speeches is evoking so much interest among saktas. Due credit must be given to the translator, the late Sri R Gopalakrishna (R.G.K), who was an accomplished journalist and author. Apart from the aforesaid work, R.G.K has also brought out two other translations, viz. "The Guru Tradition" and "Hindu Dharma- The Universal way of life". R.G.K was someone who was very close to me and hence it is a personal joy that his painstaking efforts have not gone a waste. Before his death in August last year, R.G.K, was working on another translation of Mahaperiaval's discourses dealing with Ganapatya and the esoteric significance of Ganapati. But unfortunately he passed away before it could be completed. I believe that it would be a blessing to the world If someone amongst the distinguished members of this group or any competent person for that matter, would take up the himalayan task. Able individuals who feel that they can take the responsibility may contact me for a copy of the proofs of my uncle's translation. sadA namAmi mAtaraM! warm regards, Rohit Viswanath.
