(Because) in the way of fate there is no development of happiness. When one stands in the path of prayers, the Luminant Lord becomes the Sun that guides the way to pati (God). Notes: 1. Should one leave everything to fate ? If everything is fate then it become pointless for anybody to strive for a happiness, because then everything is decided by fate no matter how much one toils. It is the effort one makes seeking to God worshipping It, that is going to bring the benefit of Its Grace that would guide one through the glorious way to the destination, the Supreme Bliss. 2. vElai - sea; virudhdham - development; pagalavan - sun. ===== --------------------------- Visit Shaivism Home Page at http://www.shaivam.org --------------------------- Faith Hill - Exclusive Performances, Videos & More http://faith.
