Guest guest
Thank you Sri Subramanian for this wonderful series! The Tamil language is gorgeous! Please forgive my ignorance but i have a question: i understand that Sanskrit is a mystical language, that each letter is a shakti and resonates with petals of the chakras. Is Tamil also a mystical language as such? i know reading these verses definitely resonates in my heart! can any learned member help? Guest guest
Yes very much it is. In fact from the older scriptures we get to know that both Sanskrit as well as Tamil are very divine languages refered to have come out of Damaru of God. Like the hymns regarded as mantras in sanskrit there are mantra hymns in Tamil too, which has magnificent effects apart from being a stotra. A sad thing though is that during later parts of the 2nd millenium ACE, followers accumulated behind each of these languages and started maligning each other instead of doubling the advantage by having both the ancient langugages rich in their literature to their benefit and bnefit of the society. (Sorry about the late replys. Because of some relocations could not get enough time on the net.) namaH shivAya love, Ganesh , "sivadancer" <sivadancer> wrote: > Thank you Sri Subramanian for this wonderful series!
