(Because) We reached out to the Feet of God. Oh mind, hereafter there is no suffering for us ! We have swam out of the noisy ocean of births that results in the ocean of vinai (karma) subsequently. Notes: 1. This concise four line hymn of the very reverend woman saint, would trigger off explanations that would run to pages ! To be brief - What one is fed with is whatever has been the deeds earned in the past - this is the standard philosophy of vinai/karma. Left to its own, it is a never ending cycle. As one is born on the earth, enjoys/suffers the fruits of the past deed and adds a few more good/bad deeds to the account that would be withdrawn in subsequent times. How does one come out of this loop ?! It is possible only by the Grace of God. If one reaches out and holds tightly the Feet of Lord shiva, that is the boat that would save one from the immense ocean of reincarnation. c.f. aRavAzi an^dhaNan thAL cErn^dhArkku allAl piRavAzi n^In^dhal aridhu - thirukkuRal 2. kanaikkaDal - noisy ocean ===== --------------------------- Visit Shaivism Home Page at http://www.shaivam.org --------------------------- U2 on LAUNCH - Exclusive greatest hits videos http://launch./u2
