Guest guest
Dear Members: It is preferred that subject matter of is restricted to devotional works and related topics on shiva dampati (shrii shivaa and Lord shiva). The name ambaa (in the list name) refers to the deity described in woks such as saundaryalahari, lalita trishati and lalita sahasranAma. The only exception to this guideline is, devotional works on sarasvatii and mahalaxmii can be discussed on the list. (This is just keep the list focus. As a moderator of this list, I clearly understand that there is NO difference between nArayaNa and ambaaL. This identity is stated in many works) A good place for you discuss on topics such as nArAyaNiiyam and giita (etc.) is advaita-l. To know more about it, please see www.advaita-vedanta.org. Thank you. -- ambaaL daasan Ravi www.ambaa.org

I think Ravi meant to say that works related to the Devi spoken of in works like Saundaryalahari etc. can be discussed. Which means that any devotional work on Devi , including the works mentioned by you can be discussed. There were some posts on Mooka Panchashati and Abhirami Andhadi a while back. You may search the archives. rgds Satish. > regards > ganapathy > ravi <ravi@a...> wrote:Dear Members: > > It is preferred that subject matter of is restricted to devotional > works and related topics on shiva dampati (shrii shivaa and Lord shiva). > > The name ambaa (in the list name) refers to the deity described in woks such > as saundaryalahari, lalita trishati and lalita sahasranAma.
