Guest guest
Namah Shivaya Ravi, Thanks for mentioning in your answer that 'Saranagati' is the best way.. yes I too have heard that Durga puja during Rahu kaalam is very good- particularly the rahu kaalam on tuesday or friday. I remember that in madras in Vadapalani temple, they used to light lemon-lamps at the small Durga shrine on the side . An astrologer told me to that during my rahu dasa i was to do Durga puja.. but as you say, the bhavana of saranagati is most important . My Guru always stresses the supremacy of manasa puja. She often talks of how above all pujas , manasa puja( mental worship) done with love is the greatest. She says to imagine the Divine Mother seated in your heart, and mentally offer Her flowers , imagine that you are doing Her pada puja etc . My guru also says that The Lalitha Sahasranama alone, if done with devotion is equal to a 'thousand other pujas' .. and that it is a potent mantra to ward of all ills, including planetary afflictions etc . bala >"Ravi <miinalochanii" <miinalochanii > > > Re: Raahu Kalam puja (10:30-12:00pm) >Mon, 13 Jan 2003 19:38:10 -0000 > >Radhikaji: > >1.
