Guest guest
Dear Adi_shakti Thanks for your mail. However, my mail though it mentioned my Guru Ammachi, was more on general Satgurus and how they may choose to give instructions to a disciple which may seem to differ from tradition. As Ravi says, some Gurus , and Mahatmas like Amma, have the capacity and the compassion to take over the responsibility of the disciples on themselves. The Tripura Rahasya has a beautiful description of the true Guru as a manifestation of Devi Herself. In that work, Devi tells the rishis how She Herself has become the entire universe , and all the creatures. She Herself has become all the jivas, gets bound by maya( which is also Herself), struggles and suffers ... and when the time is ripe, She Herself appears as the Guru, leads the disciple( who is also Herself) to the Guru who is Her manifestation, and She liberates the disciple who is Herself by the grace of the Guru who is also Herself!! This whole universe , every creature and atom in it is Her manifestation. And when the time is ripe, She will lead us to the right Guru , who is also Her . and then by Her grace if we follow the Guru's instructions and do sadhana sincerely, we will realize that we are already one with Her and this whole play , of birth and rebirth and liberation was a grand drama where She is playing with Herself.
