nine types of "Saptha Sathi Pata Krama"

Sub : SAPTHA SATHI PARAYANA KRAMA ---- 9 MAIN TYPES

 

 

 

 

 

TheBhuvaneshwari samhitha says like the eternal Vedas, Devi Saptha Sathi is also

eternal. The damara tantra says like the aswamedha yaga among yagnas, among the

sthuthies is saptha sathi.

 

For the devotees who are not able to the parayana of all 13 chapters in a single

sitting, this can be done in 7 consecutive days as under :

 

1st day : 1st chapter

 

2nd day : 2nd & 3rd chapters

 

3rd day : 4th chapter

 

4th day : 5th 6th 7th 8th chapters

 

5th day : 9th and 10th chapters

 

6th day : 11th chapter

 

7th day : 12th and 13th chapters

 

 

 

 

THE NINE TYPES OF PARAYANA KRAMA ARE AS UNDER:

 

MAHA VIDYA PATA KRAMA

PARAYANA OF THE THREE CHARITHRAS IN THE REGULAR ORDER.

MAHA TANTRA PATA KRAMA

First the parayana of prathama charithra followed by third and madyama

charithra

SAPATHA SATHI PATA KRAMA

First the parayana of madyama charithra followed by first and uttama charithra

MRUTH SANJIVENI PATA KRAMA

First the parayana of UTTAMA charithra followed by PRATHAMA and madyama

charithra

MAHA CHANDI PATA KRAMA

Parayana in the order of uttama,madyama and prathama charithram

 

 

CHANDI PATA KRAMA

With Navakshari mantra Samputikarana paryana beginning with pratama,madyama and

uttama charithram.

 

 

 

 

RUPA CHANDI PATA KRAMA

Combining “ Rupam dehi, Jayam dehi “ mantra with Navakshari Samputikarana ,

and parayanam in the order of prathama, madyama and utthama charithram.

PARA CHANDI PATA KRAMA

Reciting the 64 yogini mantras as samputikarana and do the parayanam in the

order of prathama, madyama and utthama charithram.

VIPAREETHA PATA KRAMA

Commencing the paryana from the last 700th mantra backwards and ending with the

first mantra “ Savarni surya Thanyo”.

 

The other types of parayana are combining Gayatri Mahamantra with Durga Sukta

and Maha Mrithuuncha Mantra Samputikarana and doing the Parayana

 

 

 

SAMPUTI KARANA means beginning and ending each sloka with any mantra say

Navashari or gayatri or in any combination.

 

YOJANA means prefixing to each sloka of saptha sathi any of the mantras in one

or many and doing the parayana.

 

PALLAVA means suffixing to each sloka of saptha sathi any of the mantras in

one or many and doing the parayana.
