Guest guest
hola y namaste! greetings to you all! once again i am doing a project for my Sanskrit class . . . and for the longest time i was struggling because i could not think of a subject . . . then lo and behold, i was playing some CDs and all of a sudden all my STRESS disappeared upon hearing the "Mahalakshmi Aarti" on a CD i had just acquired! i already have this in another recording ("Aarti from Mahalakshmi temple -- Mumbai" on "Mahalakshmi") but this CD is called "A Prayer to My God: Durga Maa: The Supreme Mother" what i notice is how incredibly happy and joyful i feel whenever i hear this! so, there it was, my "subject" -- the healing qualities of Sanskrit (as . . . i do not believe these are chanted/sung in Hindi?) and specifically, the ULTRA healing quaities of this Aarti! however, i have been having a difficult time finding a WRITTEN version of this! so i am humbly asking your help: does anyone know where i may be able to find (online, or in a book availiable in America) the Mahalakshmi Aarti in the original Sanskrit, along with transliteration AND a translation? thank-you all so much! peace and blessings, -- kathy z.
