Dear Ram,

The pancha makaras symbolise the five major rituals

needed in sadhana (i.e Pranayama and so on), they also have association with

bhuta Shuddhi and the five elements. The ones you mentioned are encrypted

and you don't offer the literal things since that is asuri (demonic or not

harmonious). However there some exceptions; this ritual allows you to make

your Kundalini rise without any side effects. If you want more information I

can give.

Sub : PANCHAMAKARA ( Comments ) and the VAMACHARA

I saw a learned devotee commenting on the use of the panchamakra substances as

asuric or as demonic Sadhana practiced by evil character persons.

(meaning of Demonic as it implies both the substances asnd the sadhak using

it).

I think this sweeping judgement the author has passed is out of a bias or

ignorance or a misunderstanding of the Kularnava tantra or Vamakeswara Tantra

and with out ANY authority ON THE SUBJECT.

While I am NO ADVOCATE for this type of tough path of the tantra any comments of

this nature in a focussed group on AMBAAL brings only disrepute or demeans the

TANTRA and poisions or repulses the reader looking for information on the

tantra subjects from a specialised web site such as this one .

In order to put the things in the right perspective, I thought putting these few

lines.

Source : LIFE OF RAMAKRISHNA PARAMA HAMSA ( Published by R.K Mission)

One of the Tantric Guru of Parama Hamsa named “ BRAHMI BHAIRAVI “ on divine

directions from the Divine Mother teaches the Tantric sadhana to Paramahamsa .

This particular incident talked about in the book, the sadhana goes as -------

The Tantric guru Brings from the cemetery a piece of BURNT AND SMELLY DECAYED

HUMAN FLESH and in the midnight Paramahamsa was to lick this indicated

substance from the tip of the tongue and as soon as this was done by the

PARAMAHAMSA , it was observed by the guru Brahmi Bhairavi, Paramahamsa attains

the state of SAVIKALPA SAMADHI .

IT IS WORTH NOTING THAT PARAMAHAMSA WAS A COMBINED AVATAR OF “RAMA AND KRISHNA”

AS REVEALED BY HIM AND HE HAS LIVED IN THE CONTEMPORARAY TIMES.

Now an ignorant person would comment on this spiritual exercise as stupid or

demonic. It is not so because the status of mind of such great sadhaks was of

such an advanced nature that the sensual smell of the most pleasing perfume or a

scented flower on the earth was as good or equivalent to as the most repelling

or distasteful substance on the earth such as the one involved in this exercise.

We similarly we see from a Sloka of MOOKA PANCHASATHY , the Sadhak who GETS THE

KAAMAKSHI KATAKSHAM is identified as :

The person who equalises the most beautiful thing on the earth with that of the

most ugliest one such as the (ottancahalli—a scrap) ,such a person who treats in

equal terms a bosom friend and an arch enemy ,and such person’s mental state is

said to be same whether he lives in the most beautiful palace or in the mid of

forest.

( In the Arya sadakam—sloka kamakshi katakshita purushaaa ---)

So pl pl do not write any passing stupid remarks with out ANY authority on the

TANTRAS or its practices, if it does not suit one .

The vamachara though in English is called the left handed path , literally means

“ favourable or excellent”. And those who are endowed with the finest spiritual

wisdom are naturally the excellent. The PARA SHAKTI is fondly attached to this

excellent path as is evident and confirmed in the Lalitha / Bhawani sahasranamas

namavalies recognising such practices and this is the path of the YOGIES who

seek her in KAULA way. Such paths of realising the supreme self are extremely

complicated and so difficult. It is for thise who have become MASTERS of their

SENSE ORGANS jitendriyas. Therefore the Goddess is worshipped the best by the

followers of Vamachara who are yogis, good in theory as well as practice who do

it with full faith and devotion. VAMA also means SECRET. Through the secret

means which is excellent also leads to the realisation of the self. VAMA also

means the giver of the excellent fruits of pure acts. In the tantric lore

Goddess Vama is the charming spouse of God VAMADEVA. She considers the

Vamakeswara tantra as authoritative as it is taught by Siva Himself. The deity

is known also as ANANDABHAiRAVI with her counterpart as ANANDABHAIRAVA (the

otherside of the same coin)

PL NOTE THIS PATH IS NOT APPLICBLE FOR AN ORDINRY PASU AND ALL ARE PASUS AS A

RULE THOUGH THERE CAN BE SOME EXCEPTION.
