The sages said : We bow down to Thee, who art the

Primal Person, Lord of Life, Rudra, the Eternal

Yogin, inherent in the core of our hearts,

Pracetas, completely identified with Brahman and

the Holy.

 

tvA.n pashyanti munayo brahmayoni.n

dAntAH shAntA vimala.n rukmavarNam.h .

dhyAtvAtmasthamachala.n sve sharIre

kavi.n parebhyaH parama.n tatpara.n cha .. 23 ..

 

Sages who are calm and subdued, having meditated

upon their own souls within their physical bodies,

can see Thee who art emanated from the Supreme

Self, stainless, of golden radiance, the Seer and

the highest among all high entities.

 

tvattaH prasUtA jagataH prasUtiH

sarvAtmabhUstva.n paramANubhUtaH .

aNoraNIyAn.h mahato mahIyA.n\-

stvAmeva sarva.n pravadanti santaH .. 24 ..

 

Prakrti has been born of you; you are the focal

point of all as atom, you are subtler than an

atom and greater than the greates - so the saints

say about you at all times.

 

hiraNyagarbho jagadantarAtmA

tvatto.adhijAtaH puruShaH purANaH .

sa.njAyamAno bhavatA visR^iShTo

yathAvidhAna.n sakala.n sasarja .. 25 ..

 

Hiranyagarbha, the inner soul of the universe,

the Primal Person has been born of you and being

emanated from you, has created all things as he

was instructed to do.

 

tvatto vedAH sakalAH sa.nprasUtA\-

stvayyevAnte sa.nsthiti.n te labhante .

pashyAmastvA.n jagato hetubhUta.n

nR^ityanta.n sve hR^idaye sanniviShTam.h .. 26 ..

 

All the Vedas have emanated from you and will

finally merge into you. Entering our hearts, we

observe you, the cause of the universe, dancing.

 

tvayaiveda.n bhrAmyate brahmachakra.n

mAyAvI tva.n jagatAmekanAthaH .

namAmastvA.n sharaNa.n sa.nprapannA

yogAtmAna.n chitpati.n divyanR^ityam.h .. 27 ..

 

This Brahma-cakra gets it momentum from you. You

are the only Lord of the universe and the source

of Maya. We take refuge unto you and bow down to

you who are the very soul of Yoga, the Master of

consciousness and the cosmic dancer.

 

pashyAmastvA.n paramAkAshamadhye

nR^ityanta.n te mahimAna.n smarAmaH .

sarvAtmAna.n bahudhA sanniviShTa.n

brahmAnandamanubhUyAnubhUya .. 28 ..

 

We are seeing that you are dancing in unlimited

space. Even being the soul of everyone, you are

present in innumerbale places and in various forms

and enjoy the cosmic bliss. We remember your

glory in our minds (*).

very unsatisfactory and would rather discontinue

some idea of the meaning, however unsatisfactory
