Guest guest
Friends, In my neighbourhood (Ekkaduthangal, Chennai), there is a Ganapathi temple (II Main Road, Kalaimagal Nagar) where Sri Meenakshi and Sri Sundareswarar are also enshrined. Like last year, our Samiti (Vyagrapuri Veda Paripalana Samiti), took up the first Kaala pooja of Shivarathri for Veda Paraayanam, Abishekam etc. 15 students and 5 teachers from Sri Ahobila Mutt Oriental School Veda Patasala recited 7th Khantam of Sri Krishna Yajur Veda from 5.30 pm. Sivacharyaal conducted 108-sankhu & kalasa pooja and homam. Special item was Sri Rudra Kramarchanai. After poornahuti, at 8.15 pm 108-sankaabhishekam started, and at 9 pm Mahadeeparadhanai and prasadam distributed. The temple was full and all the devotees waited and received the prasadam. The students/ritviks were presented with dhoti, pens (students only) and sambaavanai (honour). Regards, L Vaidyanathan ______________________ Missed your favourite TV serial last night?
