I think practically it is crimson red (hue); when

speaking about complexion of Divine mother.

 

1. The red color is also indicative of rajasic guna of

the trigunas (Bhagavad Gita - white -> satvic,

red->rajasic and black->tamasic).

 

Then why is that red color is so much important ?

 

2. Any connection with tantra or tantric practices ?
