Red -- Rajasic and Ambaal

Dear Devotee,

I think there is some confusion on the term Rajasic --What is rajasic in

relation to Ambaal is different from what it means in relation to a human being.

I shall deal on this through a detailed post on this to-morrow -- HUMAN MIND --

SRIVIDYA MANTRAM

Devi is Sathwic -Rajasic and thamasic because She is Prakrti --the primodial

mother - the original source material for these gunas in this world. In HER

,these three gunas are in perfect harmony and pl do not relate it to rajasic

mind of a human being.

She is Rajasic -- the activity or passion as seen in the material world. -- the

original source of matertial. In a rajasic state a human being is deluded where

as she is not deluded in the rajasic state.She being the Universal Mother had to

take the position of being Thamasic to kill her own wicked Children with asuric

tendencies and negativities to liberate them (devi Mahatmyam ) Again you cannot

compare a Thamasic mind of a human being with that of divine mother. So we say

She is thamasic in satvic,rajasic in satvic and satvic in satvic. TheKashmiri

Saktas call her RAJARYEN or rajasi

Ganapathy = = = Vijaya

1. The red color is also indicative of rajasic guna of

the trigunas (Bhagavad Gita - white -> satvic,

red->rajasic and black->tamasic).

 

Then why is that red color is so much important ?

 

2. Any connection with tantra or tantric practices ?
