Sub : An Important Clarification

 

 

 

 

 

I thank profusely the members of this group who have responded to my posts both

publicly and privately -- many describing as wonderful, as knowledgeable and

some rebuking privately.

 

 

 

I thought of giving a clarification to both these types of mails in order to

make my position clearer to the members and that would be helpful to judge the

quality of the postings.

For the members who have used the description as wonderful , knowledgeable etc

-- I would like to confess that my knowledge on Srividya sastras and Vedanta

is very feeble and that is also due to the dust of my Guru and also the grace

of Pujya Goda Venkateshwara Sastrigal, Pujya Smt Rajam Mami . Being a

householder and an office goer in my limited available time I try to

understand and learn from the commentaries of these great Mahaans on the

scriptures related to Srividya . The truth which attracted me over the years,

are reflected in the postings . In many of the postings -- Well the source of

information is not my own but of Mahaan's, except for mails where I confirm as

my personal thoughts . Therefore I doubt whether I deserve the words like

wonderful and knowledgeable etc. -- Definitely on the ego side I get a boost. As

described in my earlier mail I claim myself to be a CYBER POSTMAN.

 

 

 

The mail, which reprimands the posting, goes this way ----

 

 

 

This writer claims be learned and represent a caucus of well learned members of

this group and seeks clarification on my personal sadhana-- Have you been

practicing Anthar yaga, Have you studied Prasthantrya , have you been involved

in kundalini yoga -- I did have some doubts on your posting on puja and

Varivasya Rahasya. Pl avoid using " I " many times as many very learned members

find lot of Ego in you . Knowledge shall not become so until information is

added with experience. Your posts lack flavour of self-realisation. Pl strive

with your sadahana and perfect it before you show up in front of others.

This self styled Cyber Guru claiming knowledgeable in Vedas , Vedantas and

supposed to represent very learned members (whom I do not even know) plays the

guru's role advising me to practice Anthar yaga and kundalini Yoga and strive

with sadhana . While thanking him for taking interest in me I would only like to

tell this writer -- Caucus that I have a great Mahaan very well known in Tamil

Nadu as my Guru for Sri Vidya - this Guru would do to lift my tapasya and I do

not need this cyber guru's unsolicited guidance. -- Talking of Prasthantrya

--Mere reading does not lead one to realisation -- Chitta Suddhi should take

place - an intellectual knowledge of this great scripture shows up as an

intellectual arrogance.

 

As an ordinary householder I have all the Ego that goes with anybody else, mere

western Gentlemanly outwards mannerism like I humbly submit, honestly speaking

or by not using "I" or through any outward acts would not lead to disappearance

of ego. When one traces the root of Ego in HIS-HER True Self - EGO VANISHES.-- I

may not be writing mails at that time when it happens. This knowledge is not an

intellectual experience as the writer has put it -- this knowledge is already

there with everybody but only Some Directly Perceive it due to Devi's Grace --

the TRUTH UNFOLDS. There is a Tamil saying " KANDAVAR VINDATHILLAI -- VINDAVAR

KANDATHILLAI" which means a person who directly perceives the truth can not

explain it and a person who explains in detail has not perceived the truth.

Flavour of realisation through posts is unheard of -- as it is not a flavour

like an orange or strawberry -- I do not understand what he writes. I would

request this writer and his sub group to post publicly, if they disagree with

any of the postings and not to play the God's Role in private, which my GURU

would take care of.

 

Writing a mail is only one of the avenues, where one can spend their thoughts

usefully on Devi and I do not understand what is showing up in Public as

written. This is not Vedantic Sadas.

understand that some private messages could be nasty. When you get

such messages, please forward it to help. This will help us

moderate the list better and know such posters.

 

I find your postings show your deep devotion for your guru and God.

And they are valuable contributions to the list. I hope you will

continue posting whenever you find time.
