Guest guest
Sub : SOME BEEJA MANTHRAS ---- " OM ---EEM --- AIM --- HREEM --- KLEEM --- SHREEM " ( part one ) Thank you, Sri Ravi for fixing the spiritual bully and your valuable input for the members, that such mails should be reported to the help desk of the group. I also thank other members for voicing their support in this matter. In effect this should encourage a segment of the members who are afraid to ask questions for fear of rebuke. As all of us being the Children of the great Goddess are learning through the intellectual experience of one another. A genuinely knowledgeable devotee of Devi is one who would never make other person feel that he knows less. There is a great quote in Tamil which says “ Adiyarukku Adiyeen “ It means a Devotee of the Devotee – This statement magnifies a devotee much more than God himself . There are many stories in our scriptures as a proof of this statement, -- if you offend a Bhaktha, even God can’t help and ultimately the only recourse is to approach the Bhaktha for release from the curse. Let us look at some of the beeja mantras and their significance. OMKARA : The Vedantic Pranava manthra is OM -- a mystic mono syllable of three sounds A, U , M. The letter A is the spirit of waking souls in the waking world. U - is the spirit of dreaming souls in the world of dreams. M - is the spirit of deep sleep and undreaming souls. OM - is really the unknowable and unspeakable. It confers the sovereignty upon Yogis. Pranava is the ceaseless sound which vibrates the spoken word and the word which is yet to be spoken. It is the Primodial sound Called Anahata enveloping in and out of the COSMOS. When OM became OMKARA it is the female personification of the divine energy Parashakti . This para sound which starts becoming distinct in the mahabindu before actual manifestation, appears and with articulation of sound, words and syllables become distinct. EEMKARA : This was covered in detail in the last posting as a Kamakala Beejam of the Great Devi -- Briefly said it is the DIVINE DESIRE in the MACROCOSM . It manifests as the digit of the eternal in the microcosm. It is the divineness in each of the God ,-- Goddess of the Hindu Pantheon and the divinity in all the created. Kamakala is the mother of love Kameshwari -- THE PRIME DESIRE – from this have sprung forth in the world -- affection , love, urge etc. HREEM : This is also known as the Tantric Pranava or Bhuvaneshwari Beejam. -- ( the Eshwari for Bhuvana -- cosmos ). She is the sovereign authority for the triple process the doer of creation - operation -- dissolution. It is also called the MAYA BEEJAM -- because it is the seed of Jugglery. The meaning of as given by SIR John Woodroffe the greatest western Devotee of Devi is: Ha means Siva -- Ra is said to be Prakrti -- I means Mahamaya. Nada is said to be mother Bindu is the dispeller of Sorrow. With that Bhuvaneshwari should be worshipped. This Hreem is also the seed of Iccha, Jnana,Kriya shakthies. By reflecting on this seed mantra the earnest sadhaka becomes aware of the super consciousness. The Vachaka mantra upasana involves concentration on the sound of Hreem and awakens the kundali Shakthi. The other beeja mantras like the IIM -- KLEEM -- SHREEM would be discussed in the next posting THOUGHT FOR THE DAY An agnostic actor turned politician, well known in India who became the Chief Minister of a state, just accompanied his friend, who wanted to have the blessings of Maha Perivaal at kaanchi . The great sage asked the politician, whether he had any faith in God, for which he replied politely – I consider My Physical Mother as God . Maha periavaal after a few minutes of silence, questioned him in his Characteristic style to think in the reverse – “ WHEN YOU CAN SEE YOUR MOTHER AS GOD -- WHY CAN’T YOU SEE THE GOD AS YOUR MOTHER -- These divine words later empowered him so much that the Chief Minister became a devotee of MUKAMBIKA of Kollur. In this age old temple Adi Shankara had installed a Sri Chakra. Since the party’s principle was broken, the other leaders objected to the minister going to temple. The chief minister quietened the party men by saying – I SEE MY PHYSICAL MOTHER’S IMAGE THERE. While one message as explained above is clear, the other truth hidden here is any Ambaal devotee should also EQUALLY RESPECT THE PHYSICAL MOTHER. Otherwise it is not going to be a fruitful Devi Upasana. This is in a nut shell, the practical demonstration of the first LS namavali “SHREE MATHRE NAMAHA “ by Mahaprivaal.
