Ravi,

My Bad! I apologise for quoting a website without completely

reading all articles therein. I came across an article named Shakta

Tantra in there, and saw that the article was from a person who

belongs to a proper lineage(as stated), and did not find it

untraditional. Little did I realise that the remaining articles do

not suit my tastes nor confirm to traditional understanding. Sorry

about this.

Ravi:

I apologize for not having responded earlier to your post regarding

an article on the "Shakti Sadhana" website that quotes material

from "Ambaa~l"; it was only recently brought to my attention.

Specifically, you noted:

*** there is a page on maatangi, and the author (devi bhakta) quotes

quite extensively and explicitly from and yet does not

include it in the list of references at the end of the page, where

he/she lists few references ... Leaving out a vital information after

making references to specific names ... shows nothing but lack of

integrity. ***

I assure you, it's more a lack of proofreading; but your point is

well taken. It was certainly not my intention to present Ambaa~l's

excellent material as my own work (as you fairly note, the quotations

at issue are attributed to Ambaa~l and its specific members in the

body of the article). However, you are quite right: Ambaa~l was

inadvertently left out of the references at the end. I have now set

that right, and the article is both fully credited and linked back to

this Group.

You see, like many of the articles on our homepage, that "article" is

actually just a patchwork of posts made several years ago. I believe

that the Ambaa~l end credit was probably lost in the consolidation

process. However, since I'm the one who originally posted and later

compiled them, I take full responsibility for the omission, and

apologize for the same.

With all best wishes

Aum Maatangyai Namahe
