Guest guest
Satish: I wish you had not quoted that website on . There are four hundred members in this list, we neither approve or not disapprove what they believe or maintain as web-pages. Whoever maintains/writes that site, if they are present in this list, they are either moderated or relatively unknown in terms of contribution here. Plus, from what little I have seen on that site, I think it does not deserve a mention here. Besides, there is a a page on maatangi, and the author (devi bhakta) quotes quite extensively and explicitly from and yet does not include it in the list of references at the end of the page, where he/she lists few references (as if to make the page appear as a research article). I accidentally came up on then when I was searching something on maatangi. Personally, I do not care about copyright, but leaving out a vital information after making references to specific names (such as Sadagopan, Aravind Krishna, etc) shows nothing but lack of integrity. Traditional understanding of maatangi and worship of her does not fully conform to what that page states.
