Guest guest
Sub: MANGALA TO ALL DEVOTEES My prayerful wishes to all the devotees of this group…. A very happy Shubhanu Tamil New year, a very Happy Vishu , a very happy Baishaki and pray for the " MANGALAM" . What is the meaning of " Mangala.” Mangala means Auspicious, brave, fortunate, lucky, prosperous, pleasing, holy, pure, pious, proptiousness, bliss, well being, good omen etc Mangalam is that aspect of Ambaal bestowing prosperity to all Her devotees. Whoever approaches the Divine Mother in WHATEVER CAPACITY, receives favour from her to full satisfaction and that is mangalam. ( Gayatri Tantra of Devi Bahgavat ). She confers supreme bliss upon devotees whose intellect is pure and clear for being transformed to COSMIC CONSCIOUSNESS. From her emanates joy even for those who in servitude do Dhyana, Kirtana, Puja, Namaskar, Arti with Love. Mangala also means "woman" which connotes the idea of Auspiciousness in society for peace and prosperity and that is the IDEAL that the Indian woman have stood for in our Sanathana Dharma -- not requiring any extraneous liberation movement for themselves. H.H Bala Priavaal of Sri Mutt at kanchi noticing the increasing western influence in the contemporary Indian woman, in order to firmly re-establish the vedic culture in the Indian woman has floated a trust known as " Sri Sankara Samskritha and samsrti vaideeka patasala Trust ', The object of this trust is to educate the female children from infancy to adulthood on the vedic values like -- the importance of -- Samskaras, music, cooking, Laghu puja Vidhi, Dharmic behaviours etc apart from the academics. This exclusive residential school functions at Kanchi Tamil Nadu with about 200 girls getting Vedic and commercial education in the 10+2 pattern. This trust also conducts summer camps for young ladies, who would like to know more about our samskaras, Vedic culture and rituals. The woman of the society is the sole torchbearer of the vedic dharma and if a woman in a family is trained, it gets applied automatically to the society also and its welfare. In short this is the Woman -- Mangala. Attainment of Supreme glory is the greatest joy that Sarva Mangala - the Devi bestows. In the Sankara Bhasyam of Sri Lalitha Thrishati, quotes for Mangalam as; " Para shakti sucks up all impurity and bestows eternal bliss to human beings by mere remembering that Reality. That excellence of bliss, being eternal support of everything, grants that bliss of AWARENESS." Jai Mangala Devi Ganapathy = = = Vijaya. Ganapathy --- Vijaya " Jai Bhavani " - - - - " Jai Sri Lalitha Maha Maha Tripura Sundari " " Sarvam Shakti Mayam Jagath " The New Search - Faster. Easier. Bingo.
