Guest guest
Sub : MATHAJI the Knowledge and “ MAYA “-- No Knowledge The imitation of the supreme Self, which is immeasurable and unconquerable, is Maya. It is also the power of enchantment and practically it is that which is NOT. But it keeps the whole creation in its grip of limitations. It is that great play of Lalitha Devi- that can retard an ignorant soul as well as release a panting soul. This power is only conquerable by Devi's grace alone --So She is known as Maya Devi or Mayavathi. The Vedic usage of Maya is mysterious and deceptive power of Shakthi of Brahman by which the world of multiplicity comes into existence. Maya is the creative power until one realises the truth of Brahman. The analogy drawn in scriptures is mistaking a rope to a snake and when the observer realises that it is only a rope the maya vanishes. But till that time -- there is fear, confusion, and delusion into taking the empirical world as reality. Other example is the magician and his tricks, while we mistake the appearance for reality it is not so for the magician. Maya is the ignorance or the darkness known as Avidya. It has the power of concealing the reality and also of misrepresenting or distorting reality. This power of concealing the reality is known as the Avarana Shakthi and in the Sri Vidya Navavrana puja the Sadhak through the mantras and yantras tries to perceive the reality -- from plurality to singularity, which is the reality. In the maya world the ignorant not only fail to see the reality the AMBAAL , but also substitute something in its place namely -- The phenomenal world. Maya is an illusion which produces in our (mis ) understanding -- the substantial world of real objects - persons - process etc. When Mahatma Gandhiji wrote Sri Bagawaan Ramana requesting him to appeal to his country men to fight for the Independence of India from the Britishers -- Ramana after few days of silence, wrote back to him saying -- When there is fire on the screen (cinema ) of what use are the fire fighters , fighting such a fire. This explains in simple terms that how a Brahma Ghyani perceived the world around him in terms of Maya. Maya is present when, " I -- Me -- Mine " is present and all the experience that goes with the I-ness , Me- ness and the Mine ness ,where there is the duality -- subject and object relationship, a distinction from the real Self and Non self -- that is the shakti of Devi the Maya shakthi. This duality causes all the attachments, aversions, fears, dreams, memories, percepts, cognition.likes dislikes and the root cause of never ending births and rebirths. When we recognise the oneness of the reality, the Maya and all its attributes vanishes like the disappearance of Dew when the sun rises. Maya is timeless as time only arises within it. It is unthinkable for all thoughts is subject to it and is in describable as all language results from it. How do you explain the word Truth -- It can be explained as only " Truth " as if you start explaining the truth it can not be the Truth and hence in--explainable and when you still go to explain it is Maya. In the LS Ambaal is described as " Vidya -Avidya Swarupini". She is the Singular Shakthi with twin forms -- Vidya - the real knowledge and the Avidya -- the wrong knowledge or ambiguous knowledge - through real knowledge one becomes immortal with the one with immortality and due to the Avidya - the unreal or ambiguous knowledge, the person is bound by the inherent limitation of the ignorance. The Vidya which is all about the Real Knowledge is Sri Vidya and hence She also becomes the giver of that immortality. In the fourth chapter of devi mahatmeeyam -- refer to the meaning of -- "Vidya Si Bhagawathy Paramahe Devi "-- and in the first chapter -- " Sa vidya parama mukther hethu putha sanathani " JAI MAYA DEVI Ganapathy = = = Vijaya Ganapathy --- Vijaya " Jai Bhavani " - - - - " Jai Sri Lalitha Maha Maha Tripura Sundari " " Sarvam Shakti Mayam Jagath " The New Search - Faster. Easier. Bingo.
