Guest guest
Dear Devotee Brothers and Sisters There is a stotra called Guru Mahimna Stotram. Can any one get the stotra or tell where it is available. I' ve heard this in a pravachanam but could not recall. Lord Dattahthreya they say is one of the Guru forms who taught many spiritual truths. Sukha Brahmam purana says is greater than Vysa himself as Sukha was able to control and attain the supreme state of forgetting his bodily presence and they say a story that Vysa when crossing a river the girls taking bath immediately wore cloths though he is old but When Sukha Brahmam crossed the river they did not feel the difference because of his in dofference for boy girl differences. This is a greatest state of mind. Adhi Shankara is the sole reason for re- establishing Sanathana Dharma in this Kali Yuga. He is Jagath Guru. Mahan Sri Raghavendra,Baghwan Ramana,Paramacharyal, Shirdi Baba,Annai Of Pondicherry,Sri Aurobindo, Sri Ramkrishna Paramahamsa,Vivekananda so the list goes and continues. Sri Ganapathi Sachidananda of Mysore Sri Datta Peetam is authority of all Pooja and Thanthras , Manthras and all yanthra sastras who also advocates Namasankeerthana as the Moksha Marga. let us sing Guru Mahima as Guru us God Guru is World and Guru is everything who guide us in our progress. Regards Ramanan adi_shakthi16 <adi_shakthi16 wrote: Dearest devotees, Earlier a new member (sri ranjani) had asked about the guru-paduka stotram. OUR maball moderator Shri Aravind AND SHRI Satish had earlier elaborated on the mahima of ambaal lotus feet! Guru feet or guru's paduka are to be honored and respected just as if they are ambal's feet. for a true guru is ambaal in human form. in sree lalita sahasaranama, sree lalita is described as guru-murtihi! sree lalita herself is the guru! it is through ger grace and mercy we are led to the feet of the human guru! that is why in tantrik literature gur is called gurdevata - guru is nin-different from devata or devi! The Guru's Sandals, or padukas, represent the power of the Guru to uplift and transform us. the sandals of the guru are regarded with reverence. it is my pleasure to share this beautiful guru sloka with you on this day of guru! Dhyana mulam guru murti, Puja mulam guru paduka Mantra mulam guru vakyam, Moksha mulam guru kripa. Meditation begins in the form of our master, Adoration begins at the feet of our lord, Concentration begins in the words of our master, Liberation begins in the grace of our lord. ead the following links for guru paduka stotram... www.clas.ufl.edu/users/gthursby/tantra/guru.htm sanskrit.gde.to/TextsElsewhere.html cached sanskrit.gde.to/TextsElsewhere.html cached om shri gurave namaha!
