Guest guest
Sri Harshananda's mail is a genuine concern for the sadhakas. 1. Sri Anna Subramaya Iyer revolutionised spiritual marga by publishing mantras in Tamil; here again his concern is to let non-sanskrit knowing sadhakas benefit. But, he clearly mentioned in any pooja he has written, about the need to take it from Gurumukha (be it lagu pancayatana pooja or lagu sri chakra pooja). 2. Mantra upadesam (sound is important) from guru is proper - sadhaka gets the bijaksharas with correct pronounciation (more so, added with sri guru's vibrative long upasana strength). He has to simply repeat it and obtain welfare. 3. Printing of mantras is useful, as sadhaka, with his multifarious work & household responsibilities, needs it often for reference (he can't reach the guru everytime). 4. More important is concentration on mantra while chanting, lest result is delayed. In the present day conditions, time factor plays a role. So, with regularity & minimum counts, one can achieve result provided concentration on mantra is there. Sarva Sri Harshananda, Kochu Menon and Ravi's delibrations on the net was very very interesting - I liked it. Regards, L Vaidyanathan ______________________ Send free SMS using the Messenger.
