Guest guest
I search for information about Sodasi Devi. As far as I know this is the form of Tripura Sundari as a 16 years old girl.

Guest guest
dear alexandra, this is a loaded question requring a very detailed explanation. but there are four steps involved in merging of the self with the Divine - these are in a nutshell... first and foremost, Salokyam (perception of the Divine) secondly, Sameepyam (proximity to the Divine) third, Sarupyam (identity with the Divine) and finally, Sayujyam (merger with the Divine) just as all rivers merge into the ocean, the jivatma also merges with the paramatma ! for some , it takes three days to attain this state of liberation and for others it may take several lifetimes... but, it is important to start the process here and now! om sree gurubyo namaha! ) -- In , "Alexandra Kafka" <alexandra.kafka@a...> wrote: > Hello, > > Thank you very much for your message. > Question: Can one become one with a Goddess when meditating > about Her long enough, so that nothing of ones ordinary self > remains? > > Kind regards, > Alexandra > > Moderator's note : when replying to a post, *PLEASE* only > include portions of it that are relevant to the reply. Guest guest
|| Jai Sadguru Dutta || It is true that Goddess Lalitha Tripura-Sundari is called Shodashi, who is worshipped in the form of 16 year old girl. But that is only the gross meaning. Here 16 represents the 16 KalAs - divine virtues and hence a 16-lettered mantra to her, called the "ShodashAkshari". This forms the core of Shri-Vidya. There are still higher energy levels called the "MahAshOdashi" and the "ParAshOdashi". These are very powerful mantras after the Gayathri, capable of creation, preservation and destruction. If you are seeking information just out of curiostiy, then this should be enough. No mantra will ever work untill one is initiated into it (dikshA) by a competent Guru. But the beauty of Shri Vidya is that, one who is not eligible for it will never get it; however much he/she tries for it. I have seen many individuals become lunatic in their pursuit of ShriVidya. No Guru will ever give it to somebody until he is instructed to do so by the Mother: "rAjyam dEhi shirO dEhi, na dEyam shOdashAkshari" - give away your kingdom (wealth) or cut your head and give it in charity, but don't give shodashakshari!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I am in no way discouraging you, but only advising you to strive to get initiated first (from a guru). Otherwise, the rules of Shrividya even forbids us from discussing it with an uninitiated one!!!! , "Alexandra Kafka" <alexandra.kafka@a...> wrote: > I search for information about Sodasi Devi. > As far as I know this is the form of Tripura Sundari as a 16 years old girl. > > >
