As far as I know this is the form of Tripura Sundari as a 16 years old girl.

 

 

 

 

Sub : Shodasi or Tripura Sundari

 

 

 

This is the third Vidya of the ten great Maha vidyas of the Divine parashakthi

and also known as Tripura Sundari Vidya. Of the Different Shakthi the Icchha

Shakthi ( Desire ) is tripurasundari.The tantras proclaim that there is no

difference between the shakthi and the person possessing the shakthi. Therefore

the icchha shakthi is tripurasundari.

 

 

 

Tripura Sundari is mediated upon as Bala, Panchadhashi and Shodasi manthra in

Sowmya rupa. Without Guru paduka manthra these manthras become ineffective. Bala

itself would do for Self Realisation.

 

 

 

The Upanishads reveal the Mahavakya – I am the absolute –Everything is Brahaman

– To perceive this knowledge we have to raise above our limited body, mind or

world. We should not bow down before any fear, worry, sorrow, anxiety or other

pettiness of the mind.as we are the supreme SELF. Such attitudes help us to

attract the grace of Shodasi or the Sundari through the manthra ,whereby we

perceive the bliss of the Brahman everywhere .

 

 

 

A Jeeva is at any time in any one of the three state – waking state – dreaming

state – deep sleep. She is beyond the Three in a state known as THURIYA. She is

known as tripura sundari because she is in our body in the three mandala – the

surya- Chandra-agni mandala. The stars,the sun and the other objects only shine

her light as a reflection of Her light.

 

 

 

The Upanishad extol Her form as the True Knowledge form – the truth,absolute,

knowledge and the bliss.

 

 

 

In the sukshma rupa or the form She has 16 letters as the manthra and another

very Sukshma rupa is the para rupa or Kaamakala rupam which is known also as

the fourth letter and the Vedas reveal her the beejam

 

“ EEM“ ( pl refer to my old mail on the kamakala beejam)

 

 

 

She is also known as “AHAM” which is the combination of the first letter AA and

last letter Ha and thus the mahavakya Aham Brahmaasmi means Shodasi.

 

 

 

She is also in the form of all letters of any spoken language of a human being

and hence the LS praise her as Mathruka Varna Rupini (577).

 

 

 

Her form She shines like the thousand suns and has the compexion of the raising

sun -- wears a crescent moon on her crown -- with three eyes -- four hands - she

is young and beautiful and seated on a cot which is itself the sadashiva and the

legs of the cot are brahma,vishnu,rudra and eesaanan. she holds the bow made of

sugarcane and arrow made of puspa bhana - five flower arrows, she also has the

pasham and anghusham - that is noose and hook.

 

 

 

each of these can be described in philosophic terms -- her rosy compexion

indicates joy,illunination and compassion. the mind is the sugarcane bow and the

five senses her arrows which under her power of awareness becomes instruments of

bliss.her noose indicates her ability to capture her devotees with her charm and

hook cuts off all attachment outside.the 5 forms of corpses are siva and inert

without her energy. A lot lot can be written on this.

 

 

 

she is in SRI CHAKRA on the bidu along with kameshwara and carries out her play

of the COSMIC GAME of generation- operation and destruction.she is also the

RajaRajeshwari the supreme ruler of cosmos and from her arises the command which

allows us to unfold spirituality or to give the spiritual teachings in the

world.

 

 

 

Beauty and Bliss is the fundamental energy of exisitence and play is the nature

of all manifestation. knowing this we can free ourselves from attachment and

find happiness and delight in whatever life may bring us.

 

 

 

 

 

Sundari is the power of consciousness chit shakthi -- supreme self-- as true

knowledge she is called samvit.She is meditated on the body in the 1000 petals

of Shasrara Chakra.

 

 

 

She is Jnana Shakthi which is more of perception and unfoldment than thought and

anaysis.

 

 

 

To be aware of the divine beauty in all things is the way to approach her. this

requires that we purify our perception. to cleanse the mind of thought and to

merge the seer into the seen is her way of knowledge.

 

 

 

the highest worship of sundari is to ABIDE IN THE SELF, to be who we really ar ,

THE SELF OF THE COSMOS.

 

 

 

the atma vichaara or self enquiry is done through the shodasi manthra to trace

the root of 'I '. then we perceive that all things are not different from

ourselves and the meaning of the MAHA VAAKYAS of the upanishads get unfolded.

 

 

 

The greatest modern seer of this is Bagawaan Sri Ramana Maharishi who re

established and demonstrated to the world in the recent times the TRUTH of

Mahavaakyas and sri sri Ananda Mayi Mathajee perhaps the most famous and widely

venerated woman teacher in india, She constantly laughed from the state of

Supreme Bliss looking at the apparent pluralities of the world and how the

ignorant are deluded.
