Namaste.I would appreciate if any of the learned members of this forum

could give me some inputs on the following.

1.For a male upAsaka , I know that the diksha name would have the

'AnandanAtha' appellation. What happens if the individual who is an upasaka is

also a

sanyAsin? Do they have two different names or would the sanyAsin have the name

that ends with saraswati,Ananda and not the AnandanAtha etc.

2.Does the sampradaya allow the guru and shishya to have the same diksha names?

If so or If not , Are there any textual references or instances.

Please Pardon me if Q.2 sounds blasphemous.

Thanks

Vidya
