In the context of shankara's commentary on kaamakoTi nilayaa --

a) Can some one count the 96?

If I do 28 + 16 + 8 + 14 + 10 + 10 + 8 + 3 + 1 = 98. There is some

scope to make the three as 1. Then it will be 96. There is another

one or two approximations. I would like to know what aacharya had in

mind.

b) Also can some one read 96 out of the name kaama kooTi (such as ma

is 5 and kaa is 1, hence kaama is 51 etc)

TIA.

Ravi
