Abhirami Temple - Thirukadayoor

Dear Shree Muthiah ,

>From your introduction, we all know that you are one of the trustee of abhirami

temple at Thirukadayoor -- Tamil nadu , where Pujya shree Abhirama Bhatter

poured out his inner experiences of Devi Cosciousness as " abhirami Andhathi "

in Tamil.

 

This Andhathi was compared by Maha Pariyavaal of Kaanchi as a sum total of LS,

Devi mahaatmeeyam , Soundarya Lahari and urged the Tamilians ignorant of

Sanskrit language to learn this scripture and derive full benefits from this.

 

Though Abhirami has Vara and Abhya Mudra -- she revealed herself to Abhirami

bhatter as Lalitha Maha Tripura Sundari ( deivattin kural ) This is known from

the andathi

" Thunayum Thozum deivamum petra thayum suruthigalin panayum

Kozundthum......................".

 

As I am not yet so far called by Abhirami for a Dharshan, I would like to know

from you the various Aradhana ,vazipadu to Abhirami and if possible to give us

the full details for creation of endowments for these Vazipadu. This would be

very useful to plan the trip to coincide with the celebrations.

 

Pl also indicate the procedures to be followed for celebrating " sashtiabtha

Purthi " ( 60th Birthday ) in the temple premises as this Kshethra is considered

Markandeya Kshethra and Tamilians prefer to celebrate in this place for

Longevity.
