Recitation of Durga Sapthashati

Dear Sirs,

 

I a Shakti Upasaka. Earlier I bought a Ashtabhuji

Durga Idol. Hight of that is more than 6 inches and

made of some sort of Soil may be Plaster of Paris.I

have heard that one should not do Prtishtha/Worship of

any big Idol at his house.

Earlier I was inclined to Durga(ashtabhuji) form of

Srimata and because of her grace only I came into

touch of of some scripture on Tantra and this

group and a feeling came into my mind I automatically

got inclined to Lalitha Tripursundari.This group

helped me a lot about knowing Srimatha and because of

this group only I came to know about Kanchipuram and

Kamakshi Amman Temple there. I went there and got a

photograph of Kamakshi.On this Navratra I want to do

Sthapana of that photograph at my house.Un fortunately

I could not get any Guru but with HER grace very soon

I will get someone who can lead me to higher level of

worship.

 

I want to recite Durga Sapthshati and do Home with 700

verses of that scripture.My main doubt is that,

 

Can I recite Durga Sapthashati in front of Kamakshi

Photograph?

 

How the recitation should be done and Home should be

performed?

 

This I should do it on Panchami or Ashtami?

 

Earlier I bought a Durga Idol for Sthapana but now

shifting to Kamakshi, is it right or not?

 

What should I do while doing sthapna of Kamakshi at my

house?

 

I will be very very great full if any learned group

member can throw some light on above topics and remove

some doubts those are bugging my mind.
