Guest guest
Dear Virendra Qaziji, we are happy to know from your introduction that you have a good knowledge of Kashmir Saivism and the Shaktha tradition. I hail from south and use to always fascinate on this great place Kashmir which remained an eminent seat of learning of sanskrit studies for centuries and kashmirian contribution in terms of saiva Agamas and rhetoric has been uniquely brilliant. very few places in the Bharath has been named after the great sages and kashmir is one which has come from Kashyap maharishi. The nature is at her best in Kashmir and is famous all over the globe for its beauty and no wonder this place has been selected by the Beauty of the Beauty -- the supreme deity -- " SARIKA " and she is also adored as " KASHMIRI ". Sarika is also a name of a local bird and known for its sweet and indistict note and devi standsfor subtleness and melody. I am eager to know more about the Great devi SARIKAJEE from you and also pl write for the benefit of this group information on the temples like SHEER BHAVANI and other famuos temples around Srinagar. I am aware of Vaishnawi devi . Looking forward to hear more about Sarikajee and Pradyumna Peeta where She is.
