Guest guest
Sri Rama Jayam Namaskarams to all, I was listening to a rendition of the Begada composition "Kamakshi" of Syama Sastrigal by Vijay Siva. After reading the lyrics, I could just think of nothing else, but the similar emotions displayed by the Avathara Purusha, Sri Ramakrishna towards his beloved, Dakshineshwar Kali. How childlike should Shyama Sastrigal have been, outpouring the same sentiments as Sri Ramakrishna? The Gospel of Ramakrishna gives several instances of his innocence where he would ask the Divine Mother for her guidance and clarifications. Syama Sastrigal also portrays the same where he says "am disgusted with running behind the fickle minded, lustul ignorant ones and listening to their tales. Will I go astray?" No wonder, both were the Beloved of Kamakshi and Kamakshi, their beloved. SMS using the Messenger;Download latest version.
