Guest guest
Dear group members, I am curious to know more about Swarnakarshana Bhairava. I have seen pictures of him, and he holds a Kalasam, Udukkai (cow-skin drum with a snake), and trisoolam, with one hand in the abhaya posture. I assume he is a particular/special form of Lord Bhairava, because the Goddess Parvathi is seated on his lap, uncommon for Lord Shiva and Parvathi to assume such a pose, more commonly seen with Lord Vishnu and Mahalakshmi... I would appreciate any information that others in the group have to share about this. Sincerely, Rohini
