peace and prosperity is being conducted every day since

12-07-2002 at Sri Bhagavathi Choudeshwari Temple, Bangalore

with the divine blessings and guidance of Jagadguru

Shankaracharya of DakshiNaamnaaya ShrngEri Shaaradaa

Peetam, “Shree Bhaarathee TheerTha Mahaaswamigal” and

Shankaracharya of Shri Gokarna Mandala (Shri Ramachandrapur

Mutt) “Sri Raghaveshwara Bharathi”. This Mahayaga is

scheduled to conclude on 19-9-2003. The details of the

daily puja / yaga are as follows:

 

3.30 A.M. to 8.00 A.M. :

 

1. Kshipra prasadana Ganapathy Homa

2. Navachandika Homa

3. Ganapathy Atharva Shirsha

parayanam (108 times)

4. Sri Durga Saptha shathi parayanam

5. Sri Lalitha Sahasranama parayanam

6. Abhisheka

7. Shri Rudra parayana (11 times)

8. Maha mangalaarathi

 

9.00 A.M to 12.30 A.M. :

 

1. Sri Durga Saptha shathi parayanam

2. Sri Durga Namaskara ( 3 times at 10

A.M., 11 A.M.,12 A.M.)

3. Maha mangalaarathi

 

4.00 P.M. to 8.00 P.M. :

 

1. Sri Lalitha Sahasranama parayanam (25

times)

2. Sri Durga Saptha shathi parayanam

3. Sri Durga Namaskara

 

Apart from this, special Pushparchana and Navavarana

Puja to Meru Shri Chakra on every Tuesday and Friday.

 

Below is the details of the number of Mantra Japa/parayana

performed during these 435 days:

 

1. Kshipra prasadana Ganapathy homa - 400

 

2. Shri Durga saptha shati parayana - 5,000

3. Chandika Homa - 5,00

4. Lalitha sahasranama - 10,000 ( 1 crore nama japa )

5. Ganesha Atharva shirsha - 40,000

6. Bhagya sookta parayana - 40,000

 

Total cost for this Maha yagna : Rs. 32, 71, 200/-

 

The organizers are facing shortage of funds. This Mahaayaaga

has to be successfully concluded at any cost, in the larger

interest of the World in general and Bhaarath (India) in

particular. Hence all devotees are requested to kindly

contribute in cash and kind for this good cause and receive

Goddess Chowdeshari's blessings.
