Satish is correct. But there are some alternatives.

 

a) you can listen to them from audio cassette. Musicindiaonline.com has all

of them.

 

b) you can read the translation. In fact, understanding serves a greater

purpose.

 

c) For durga saptashatii, there is a section called nArAyaNI stuti. You can

mentally think Sri bhArati tiirtha swamiji as your guru and chant it. Please

d) Works like saundaryalahari, muuka panchashati, aanandasaagarastavah, etc.

have no restriction on them.

 

e) Better still you can compose your own prayers on ambaaL.
