Guest guest
Sub : Devi’s Grace – part 4 Shree Raviji Observation was “ Key to Receiving God’s grace is Not Chanting Shloka but to learn to love whom we come across. Observations : Could mean Chanting Shloka may not lead to grace. In the Context of discussion Whether DM is a Shloka. Reply : Divine Voice ( Daivathin Kural Part one ) of Jagad Guru Maha Swamy of Kaanchi. The answer to the first question is clearly given by the Jagad Guru for the universal knowledge. Quote : We are born out of Dhoshas as a result of which we get our body which has a balance of punya and papa to be exhausted. If we tied a knot you have to untie the same way and the way to do it is to get Chitta Suddhi by doing – Dhanam – Dharmam— Karma Anushtanam ( Samskaras ) ---Eshwara Namocharam ( Chanting Shloka ) and temple visits. This is the Only Way to exhaust the Papas and in the process we get the ATMA GUNA . Unquote It is amply explained by Maha Swamy that Chanting Shloka is an important means to learn one of the Atma Guna – Love – my earlier post contained the importance of having atma guna to remove the ignorance. In my 1 Baiza ( this the unit of currency in Oman ) opinion on Shloka –which is A praising in verse, extolling or a hymn can be of two types. A shloka of a jivan muktha say Adi Shankara or A shloka written with literary Skills by an ordinary Jiva. While both are Shlokas in that sense, the former composed by a Realised Soul if chanted would have a million watts beneficial charge to the Chitta Suddi as it comes from intelligent in the heart of the realized soul than a Shloka written by an individual with limited Bhakthi from the use of intelligent of the mind. That is reason why the songs composed by Dixathar, Shyma sastry has still survived. Whether DM is a Shloka under the above definition. Only the scriptures can answer this point. Rudrayamala – says this is the most secret giving all siddhis. Meru Tantra -- says only Devi knows the inner secret while Vishnu knows 75%, brhma half and Vyasa quarter. Damara Tantra : Like aswamedha amongst sacrifices, like Vishnu among Gods, so the Sapta Sati among all lauds. Katyani Tantra ; Declares each sloka as MANTRA. ( which are covertly mentioned ) For a layman the casual reading may look like a sory as 75 % of DM describes the battle and other narration. Yet each verse is masked with mantra .Aptly the Mahaan Bhakara Raya’s named his commentary on DM as “ Guptavathi “ Devi Herself declares “ this Mahatmyam of mine in its entirety evokes my prescence. There are 18 Maha Puranas and this is the only purana which our Maharisis have prescribed to Yagna with the text. This Concludes my answers to the points covered by his mail and hope I have answered to the best of my negligible knowledge. Wish you All a very Happy Navarathry and pray for everybody's grace of Devi.
