Dear Devi bhaktas

Although i know Tara and Kurukulla are both forms of the Devi that

are worshipped in Hinduism and their sadhanas are included in the

Tantras i wanted to ask about them. It may be because the Tantric

tradition in Hinduism is more secret or because Vajrayana is getting

popular in the west but it seems most of the information available

for Tara and Kurukulla are from the buddhist point of view. I was

wondering about it and want some help. I also want to ask if there

are any saints who attained liberation through Tantric sadhana and

bhakti for Ma whose biographies i can read.

Thank you

Namashkar !

The name of one tantric saint comes readily to mind and he is none

other than Bamakhepa of Tarapith - he was a tantrik who practiced the

left handed path by doing "Tara sadhana" .... he was a great

worshipper of Mother Tara!

well, a good start is to read the following two books...

1) the gospel of sri ramakrishna

2) autobiography of a yogi - paramahansa yogananda

they should be available in leading book stores . the first one can

be obtained from Ramakrishna mission....

enjoy!

hari aum!
