Guest guest
namste, There are copies of the Parashurama Kalpa Sutras and the Nityotsava at the New York Public Library. I have seen a little book published by Ganesh and co which has a translation of the first chapter of the Parashurams Kalpasutras. While we are on the topic of the Kalpasutras...i have a couple of questions, may be Harshaji or one of the learned members could help me out. Most people visualize the kamakala triangle in the visesharghya( the a ka tha triangle as counter clock wise - Woodroffe gives an elaborate explanation about the anti clockwise a ka tha triangleas being the correst one, in his serpent power.)similary while worshipping the central triangle in the avarana puja many do it counter clock-wise. But both the Parshurama Kalpasutra and the nityotsava specify a clock -wise direction for the worship of the triangle and also for the visualization of the a ka tha triangle in the visesharghya. Could one of the members help me out about the correct direction and also the reason for it being done in two completely different ways. thanks
