What is the necessity of holding Sathru Samhara Homams

in Malaysia? Who are the participants? Who are the yajamaans and

who are their enemies?

These types of homas are being held too often.

Do you know how dangerous these homams are?

Homams and special worships have become rackets and

multimillion ringgit businesses. Malaysia is one country where

Hinduism has become highly commercialised and gangsterised.

Don't give me the crap that ignorance, poverty, etc., are

the enemies against whom Sathru Samhara Homam is done.

That is what should be told to naive fools.

There are other homas which could be done for better

purposes. There are other better methods of doing things.

And Malaysian Tamil youths need good and proper

guidance and help.

You must render such helpful services to that community.

Not this type of tom-foolery.

Not this type of lowly fraudulant fleecing of the already

poor Malaysian Tamil Hindus.

If a thousand people were to give you the fee, would you

be giving one thousand Valampuri sankus to one thousand people?

Where do you get those valampuri sankus?

I dont see a reason for such a confrontational approach and I dont know why

Sri JayBee came down so harsh on this question. From my understanding of

this, most of the members of the list are highely unlikely to participate in

this. Whoever partcipates and pays money, should use their reasoning power

to understand and support their participation.

 

 

First few question asked by JayBee alone are probably enough. To add to

that, what is the trishati that is used and what is the deity? Is it related

to ambaa? or is it related to skanda? If the text under consideration is not

related to ambaa or shiva, then the discussion is not within the scope of

the list. My cursory web search indicated that it is related to skanda

shashhTi which is coming up. I know very little about this homam. Probably

the texts that support and recommend this homam will outline the true

purpose of this prayoga.
