Guest guest Posted January 10, 2004 Report Share Posted January 10, 2004 pranams. about a decade ago, the tamil periodical "idhayam pesukirathu" had published a full page colour photograph wherein the form of mahalakshmi standing on the lotus with elephants on both sides [ a typical ravi varma picture , seen in every one of our homes], was "caught" in the agnikundam of a sree sookta homam. this was by a normal camera. recently, the form of lord shiva was "captured" by schlieren photograpgy, during a major yaga held at trichur in kerala. i t was then determined that the form of the shiva linga manifested in the atmosphere every time the panchakshari was chanted in unison. it was also verified that the linga did not appear when other sounds were voiced. at the theosophical society in madras, a project was undertaken to determine the veracity of the panthoon of devas and devatas of our faith. schlieren photography was used. clear photographs were obtained of most the devatas of different flowers, trees, building, auras of temples etc etc. they have come to the conclusion that they can record the forms of most of the 33 crore devatas. the pictures are available at the theosophical society. a.v.krshnan. ______________________ Messenger - Communicate instantly..."Ping" your friends today! Out of love and the blessings of Maa "Durga Maa" a temple was built above a well at lot 6 little diamond E.B.D. Six months after the Temple was opened on a wednesday evening while Devotees were cleaning they discover a white powdery substance on the SHIVA murtie. Innocently they thought that one child who usually go ther every morning must have powder the LORD out of love for him so they scolded the child and told her not to do that anymore. Of course the child denied but no one belief her. Next morning she went again to the Temple as is her custom and after she prayed she was about to place her flowers at the LORD'S feet she saw the substance came out of the toe of the murtie She got scared and ran out and call the nearest adult she got hold off. That MURTIE of LORD SHIVA gave bhabootie until the Sunday before it stop. It was sweet smelling and the whole Temple was in a wonderful fragrance for four days. The bhabooth came from around the neck the arms and toes of the LORD. What a blessing for them. Also in Guyana during SHIVARATHRIE Hawan an image of the Lord appeared on a Taarie.
