Few days back, Shree Raviji , indicated the good work done by

 

Brahma Shree R. Sridharan by publishing important books on Vedas and other

For those who have undergone the Adult ( Vedic ) literacy program like me, who

require a book constantly for chanting Vedas , I would like to recommend two of

the treasures which Shree Sridharan has published spending considerable amount

of time in research by consulting many Vidwaans, many popular books , rare

materials , manuscripts and the result is a master piece. The book has both

Tamil and Devanagiri lipi , the print is oversized to enable a constant eye

contact even if one misses few lines while chanting in a group, the appropriate

swaras are clearly indicated with hardly any printing or swara errors. He has

developed a unique style of his own in Tamil lipi to recognize the phonetic

sound of the Sanskrit language that the Tamil language lacks, by which any

person lacking the knowledge of devanagiri lipi, can easily follow and chant the

Vedas without any mistakes. For all these life time efforts and his love for

enabling many who may be otherwise discouraged to learn Vedas ,

I prostrate to this person who has undertaken this noble project with the

blessings of Mahaswamygal of Kaanchi.

This Master piece has “ A to Z “ of mantras on this important subject contained

in the mid of Krishna Yajur Veda . The book includes Mahanyasa, Avahanam, Kalasa

Sthapan,Namakam,Rudra shodasi puja,Abhishekam, Rudra Homa, Rudra Thrishati, Arti

, Asheervadha mantras etc.

 

 

 

The book also contains the Sanskrit names of various Neivaidyams, fruits,

flowers, leaves, month. Day , nakshatra etc

 

 

 

Mantra Pushpa Mala

 

 

 

This is another useful and an excellent work which contains Rudram,

Chamakam,Purusha Suktham, all Ambaal Sukthas and various other 25 Sukthas. This

has 618 pages and very reasonably priced at Rs 150. in the last few pages it

containd the Manthra Pushpamand Shanthi Panchakam.

 

 

 

What distinguishes this book with that of others is the quality of font, swaras

without any mistake , no printing error and very comprehensive.
