Guest guest
Dear Devotees, Pranams. Glory to " Bhoga -- Moksha dayini " the Divine Mother who bestows " Material enjoyment and Eternal Bliss to a serious sadhak. In the Thirteenth Chapter of the great scripture Of DM after the Sage completes the narration of this sublime scripture , the King and the Vaishya , realises the impact of Delusion of Maha Maya and take refuge in the Supreme Goddess : -- Chandka. Both these devotees after making on the bank of the river , the image of Devi out of earth by offering flowers, incense, water and their own blood as food to Devi -- performs the Tapas for three years. Pleased with the austerities and Bhakthi , CHANDI Devi appears to Grant whatever the Ksatriya and Vaishya desired. Then The Kshatriya King Chose the Kingdom which he lost and the wise Wealthy Vaishya despondent in the mind chose Real Knowledge of the Self which gives release from the " I " ness. After the King gets the Kingdom he is reborn on earth as a MANU -- SAvarni. THE QUESTION : When Devi Asks for a boon Why did the King desire for the " Earthly Bliss" instead of the " Eternal Bliss." Shiva can also grant Bhoga and Moksha. The Shiva purana says that Bhoga and Moksha can be acheived with the help of Shiva Panchakshari.
