Brahma Lokam and different forms of God

As the Nirghuna Brahman is formless there are no temples for it on this earthly

dimension, and appropriately all the upasakas of different forms like Maha

Ganapathy, Surya, Vishnu, Shiva, Ambaal and Subramanya finally reach a Neutral

Loka or dimension known as " Brahmma Lokam". This is also known as Satya Lokam

and the Jivas reaching here are in form of light and continue their upasana with

the help of Sanagathi Munies to further liberate themselves. Once a upasaka

reaches this dimension there is no rebirth .

All the upasakas reach the same place and this place for a Shivite it looks like

-- Kailasam , for a Viashnavite it looks like -- Vaikuntam , For a Kowmara

upasaka it looks like Kowmara Lokam, For a Devi Upasaka it is as " Sri Puram ".

This only confirms that through the different forms of worship we reach the

common place of the Brahman and it requires futher efforts to overcome the

perception of a particular form to ultimately merge into the formless.

Dear Srinathji,

Pranams.

Once again you have hit the bull's eye by taking the most appropriate and

authoritative source on the subject " why there are different forms and Is one

form of God superior than the other ". This is a very common doubt among the

Sanatana Dharmies and people rarely know the answer or try to reply in the

proper perspective because of ignorance.

This message of periyavaal sholud be taught to all our Children so that they

don't get confused over different Forms of the parabrahman.

Few weeks back there were mails posted by the learned members as to the claim of

Superiority of " Lalitha Sahasranama Vs Vishnu Sahasranama" and at that time i

was trying to locate in vain, this precise speech of Mahaperiyvaal from the

books which i have.

As you have done it and in the process answered two questions through one reply

,you have done a great job . My Appreciations to you on the scholarly

understanding of our great religion.and pray to Devi that you keep posting

authoritative answers as you have been doing.

It is said in Vedas -- " Reality is ONE -- wisemen speak of Many ". All said and

done the Form of " Mother " is the most beautiful one as we know as a child of

Her's , we can afford to commit mistake and She would tolerate it as a Mother

and give us a chance to overcome our weakneses.

Quoting the Adi Sankara -- " There can be wicked Childreb BUT NOT A MOTHER "

keep up your good services to the group.

These are the words of the "Mahaperiyava", Brahmaikya Jagadguru of

the Kanchi kama koti peetam, Shree Chandarashekhar saraswathi.

Why Differences among the Gods ?
