Guest guest
Dear Devotee I remember my Guru mentioning that even the ending should be clear. When one says "shrEm" or "aIm", the lips should touch when one says the "m" sound.( so it is shrEm.) ('m' becoming 'ng' might happen when we do the bheeja manthra japa even a little faster.) Guest guest
As a Bija mantra it is to pronounced as Shreem only. Sh as in shine and reem as in cream. But sanskrit language adapts words according to the linkages and you find changes in sounds. Shreem when combined with another word will be pronounced according to the first syllable of the following word. For example in "Shreenkara rupini", Shreem becomes shreen. In Shreengarbhaayai namaha ir becomes Shreeng.
